What is Parody and Satire?

People who like Satire and Parody laugh more and have a longer life. The average person who laughs will live up to 200 years longer than any other person. Scientist researched that the average person who laughs 100 times a day will live to be 305 years old!

A Nursing student at Yale named Judy Morgan died suddenly at the age of 22 because she never laughed a day in her life. “This is sad” Dr Robotnik stated.

But what is satire and parody?

Many ask what is the Definition Of Satirical or Definition of Parody? They are similar, almost one in the same but they are defined below.


Satire Meaning:


Definition of Satirical = the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

Parody Definition: an imitation of the style of a particular writer, artist, or genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect.


examples of parody: parody songs, parody movies, parody movies including artists Weird Al Yankovic, Scary Movie Series and sketches on Tv Shows like Saturday Night Live.

examples of Satire: Any comedian who exaggerates a joke in a sarcastic negative manor.
